This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist with various electrical tasks on construction sites, learning the skills necessary to advance in the field. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Work with power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues, including low voltage and high voltage systems. Participate in framing carpentry as needed for electrical installations. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to ensure proper function of electrical components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Experience Previous experience in a construction site environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with power tools and basic electrical concepts is a plus. A strong willingness to learn about industrial electrician practices and techniques. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
