This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in manufacturing, facilities maintenance, and residential environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical components, ensuring safety standards are met while enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure optimal performance. Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to accurately measure electrical parameters and troubleshoot issues. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Supervise or assist with welding tasks when necessary for structural or equipment modifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts, and service history. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all maintenance activities, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Proven electrical experience in manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or residential settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams. Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting purposes. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment installation, welding, and structural modifications. Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Supervising or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to guide team members effectively. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams. Additional skills such as residential painting or customer service experience are considered a plus but are not mandatory.
