This is a craft-focused, shop-based role for someone who takes pride in clean, precise wiring. You'll work from engineering schematics to wire pre-assembled industrial control panels to production quality standards — including PLC panels, VFD enclosures, distribution panels, and custom control systems for data centers, energy, marine, and manufacturing applications. No field work. No travel. Just hands-on, high-quality panel wiring in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities Wire industrial control panels from engineering schematics and wiring diagrams — point-to-point, tray cable, and homerun wiring Route, cut to length, label, and terminate conductors with precision — maintaining consistent wire dress, separation, and bend radius throughout Select and install appropriate wire sizes, ferrule types, and lugs based on drawing specifications Terminate PLC I/O modules, VFDs, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, and power distribution devices Apply wire markers, ferrules, and end sleeves to company and UL508A standards on every conductor Perform point-to-point continuity verification and pre-power-up inspection on completed panels Identify and resolve wiring discrepancies; mark up as-built changes on drawings when required Collaborate with engineers and QA/QC to resolve build issues and maintain quality output Support high-volume production schedules without sacrificing workmanship Follow UL508A, NEC, customer, and company wiring standards on every panel Maintain a clean, organized work area and safe working practices at all times Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year Electrical wiring experience required. Proficiency with ferrule crimping, wire labeling, and termination tools Experience building industrial control panels or electrical assemblies Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Familiarity with industrial control components such as PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, VFDs, and power supplies Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Experience with wire labeling, ferrules, and industrial panel wiring standards preferred Basic hand and power tool experience Ability to lift and move panels and materials as required Competencies Superb attention to detail Team player Safety-conscious Ability to manage multiple priorities Self-starter and natural problem solver Why RED Group?
