Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee and manage electrical installations and maintenance on construction sites. The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for supervising teams of electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical workers on-site. Plan and lay out electrical work, including wiring diagrams and job site logistics. Ensure that all electrical work is performed according to plans, specifications, codes, and safety regulations. Inspect work for compliance with electrical and building codes. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner. Manage material and equipment deliveries and ensure availability of required tools. Maintain accurate records of work performed, labor hours, materials used, and project progress. Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to apprentices and junior electricians.Qualifications:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by state/local laws). Minimum [5+] years of experience in electrical work, with at least [2+] years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. OSHA certification is a plus.Working Conditions:
- Job sites may include residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noises, and construction hazards.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working at heights.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$65,000.00- $85,000.
