Generator Technician Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Generator Technician Helper to support our electrical maintenance and installation teams. This entry-level role involves assisting experienced technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and foundational electrical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing generators and electrical equipment on construction sites Use hand tools and power tools to support wiring, mounting, and assembly tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures Support the framing carpentry aspects of generator enclosures or related structures as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently

Qualifications:

Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and willingness to learn new skills Construction site experience is highly desirable Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Must have a valid drivers license and a clean motor vehicle report This role is an excellent stepping stone for individuals eager to build a career in electrical maintenance within industrial or commercial settings. Pay:
