Yes, we are located in Shelburne Falls; however, we serve Hampden, Hampshire, and Berkshire counties in Massachusetts. Minimum Qualifications MA Journeyman?s Electrical License 1-2 years of Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Experience Knowledge of the NEC and how to apply it to a project effectively OSHA 10 card A Licensed Electrician will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to Installation, maintenance, repair, NEC code compliance, safety compliance, effective communication skills, collaboration, and accurate documentation.
Maintenance:
Inspecting and maintaining existing electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely. This involves identifying potential problems and performing preventative maintenance.
Repair:
Troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing malfunctions, and repairing or replacing faulty wiring, components, or equipment. This often requires using various testing devices.
Code Compliance:
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations. Staying up-to-date with the latest codes is crucial.
Safety:
Adhering to strict safety procedures to prevent electrical hazards and injuries. This includes using appropriate personal protective equipment and following safety protocols.
Communication:
Communicating effectively with clients about the scope of work, estimated costs, and timelines. This also involves explaining technical issues in a way that non-electricians can understand.
Collaboration:
Working with other construction professionals, such as plumbers, HVAC technicians, and building engineers, on larger projects.
Documentation:
