Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential,commercial , and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and project specifications. Responsibilities Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general handyman tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification. Proven residential electrician experience with troubleshooting skills. Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safe electrical installations. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices effectively. Construction site experience including renovation projects and framing carpentry is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently on-site. Pay:

$36.44 - $45.00 per hour
