Electrician Journeyman - FT Position - Westfield, MA

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in heavy industrial projects and wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with complex electrical systems, including electrical controls, and will be comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving project needs. Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and control panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Perform conduit bending, panel wiring, terminations, and system startups.
• Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and productivity on all worksites.
• Document installations and service work using tools such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.
• Participate in field coordination and clash detection reviews using tools such as Navisworks (preferred).
• Perform material takeoffs and compile material requisitions for procurement.
• Provide mentoring and support to apprentices when applicable. Required Qualifications
• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial electrical work
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical controls and instrumentation
• Experience working with PVC-coated rigid conduit and stainless steel conduit
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 certification required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam; Navisworks familiarity is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience
• Work in municipal infrastructure or wastewater treatment plants
• Experience in managing or leading crews on-site
• Participation in startup and commissioning of electrical systems

$40.00 - $65.00 per hour
