Electrical Installer

Job Description We are seeking motivated Electrical Installers to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in compliance with customer specifications and NEC codes. The successful candidate will have a solid background in working with wireways, conduits, and cable trays, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints and using various hand tools and measuring devices. Responsibilities Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Set up wireways, conduits, and cable trays, ensuring proper grounding of electrical equipment according to specifications and NEC codes. Perform simple connections of utility wires, understanding the functionality of electrical circuits. Conduct the threading of conduit and accurately read blueprints. Utilize basic hand tools and measuring devices effectively. Ensure all tools are in good working condition. Maintain a clean and orderly work area through ongoing housekeeping duties. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience with wiring, installing panels, cable trays, and running conduit. Ability to bend conduit and measure wiring accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrician I:

Skilled in installing wireways, conduits, and cable trays, grounding equipment per specifications.

Electrician II:

Competent in performing simple utility wire connections and understanding electrical circuits.

Electrician III:

Capable of leading teams, assigning duties, and ensuring proper installations based on blueprints. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is primarily in an un-air-conditioned plant area, requiring physical demands such as heavy lifting, moderate reaching, and stooping/kneeling. The position operates Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
