Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Labor Electrician Helper and play a vital role in supporting electrical installations across diverse projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in both industrial and commercial electrical systems. You'll be instrumental in assisting with wiring, conduit installation, blueprint interpretation, and ensuring safety standards are met on-site. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools to support wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate work. Help with the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Support the use of testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling. Assist with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure when needed. Qualifications Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including NEC compliance standards. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively under supervision. Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in electrical installation.
