This energetic role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in both industrial and commercial electrical systems. You will assist with wiring, conduit installation, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting low and high voltage systems. Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Handle hand tools and power tools safely to support wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution. Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify faults. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure setup when needed. Skills Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices like ohmmeters. Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading. Knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical installations. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Ability to assist with low voltage and high voltage wiring projects confidently. Familiarity with construction framing carpentry related to electrical infrastructure is a plus. English speaking preferred. Spanish speaking preferred.
