About the
Role:
As a Journeyman Electrician within our Specialty Construction group, you will act as a critical technical resource ensuring the reliability and safety of complex industrial electrical systems. This role is centered on high-level system diagnostics and technical execution, where you will troubleshoot intricate AC/DC control circuits and manage the installation of rigid conduit and instrumentation. From performing predictive maintenance to developing custom wiring diagrams, your function is to provide 24/7/365 operational stability for facility-wide equipment, including heavy machinery, power distribution systems, and precision plant instrumentation.About TAI:

Here's a glimpse into your day to day: Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including installing (rigid) conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, recording devices, starters and temporary wiring setups. Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions so as to maintain equipment in a state of operating effectiveness. Maintain and repair plant instrumentation. Develop wiring diagrams as necessary. Use precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter, etc. Install, maintain and repair a wide variety of cranes, elevators, power doors, hoists and related equipment. Perform all aspects of maintaining overhead crane systems. Complete records and inventory of supplies necessary for performance of jobs. Perform preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on electrical devices and other equipment. Maintain personal work tools. Perform other duties as required to maintain or improve plant reliability. Conduct daily safety risk assessments on routine and non-routine job tasks. You'll be a perfect fit if you have: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of journeymen papers for electrician or 5 years industrial electrician experience. Complete knowledge of all current and voltage characteristics such as single phase, 3 phase, 110v, 220v, 440, 12.5KV and d.c. voltage. Working knowledge of solid state circuitry and programmable controllers. Knowledge of National Electric Code, NFPA 70E and other applicable safety and industry codes. Proven ability to work in a safe manner, adhere to safe practices. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites. Sites are primarily around Baltimore and occasionally surrounding areas such as DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, etc. OSHA 10 certification is required or ability to obtain certification.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position as necessary to complete assigned tasks. The person in this position needs to frequently move about client's facilities and offices to access equipment and complete tasks. Consistently ascend and descend portable and fixed ladders, scaffolding and other equipment used to reach equipment at various levels of height some of which maybe in excess of 25 feet in a safe manner. Must be able to ascend and descend a large quantity of stairways at any given time. Frequently move tools and equipment weighing up to 50lbs across client facilities as needed to complete tasks. Occasionally lift and move equipment in excess of 100lbs in a safe manner. Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions as needed.Compensation and Benefits:
Pay:
$27-37/hour (based upon experience). Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable). PTO and Paid Holidays.Health Benefits:
