The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, both low and high voltage, and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role requires a hands-on approach to electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Perform renovations that require electrical modifications or upgrades. Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with circuits, wiring, and fixtures. Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople as part of a larger renovation or construction project. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance field. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
