Journeyman or Master Electrician Wampler Remodeling Nottingham, MD Job Details Full-time $35 - $50 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Renovation Customer service Driver's License Power tools Full Job Description Job Summary Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician) Home Remodeling & Restoration Company We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician) to join our home remodeling and restoration team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, including renovations, additions, full home rewires, service upgrades, and restoration work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains a strong commitment to safety, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems. Perform complete electrical rough-ins and trim-outs for remodeling projects, additions, and new construction homes. Conduct full and partial house rewires in both older and newer residential properties. Install, replace, and upgrade electrical service panels, subpanels, breakers, and meter equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions while ensuring code compliance. Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, GFCI/AFCI protection devices, and other residential electrical components. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, specifications, and building codes. Coordinate electrical work with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and homeowners. Perform service calls and electrical repairs for occupied homes. Ensure all work meets local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. Conduct inspections and testing of completed installations to verify safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Safely operate electrical tools, testing equipment, ladders, lifts, and other job-site equipment. Identify potential safety hazards and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in training and mentoring apprentices when applicable. Qualifications Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license. Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, service installations, and NEC requirements. Experience with panel upgrades, whole-house rewires, remodeling projects, and troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and licensing level.
