Utility-Scale Solar Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support a utility-scale solar project in Still Pond, MD. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems associated with solar construction, including DC/AC systems, inverters, and related components.
Requirements:
Must hold a current and valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Maryland or a recognized reciprocal state Minimum 1-3 years of utility-scale solar experience OR at least 5 years of commercial new construction experience Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and NEC code Experience working with DC/AC systems, terminations, and solar components preferred Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for utility-scale solar projects Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and equipment installation Assist with inverter, combiner box, and panel installations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project standards Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
Compensation:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour (DOE)
Additional Requirements:
Must have own tools required for the trade Must have reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening if required Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed #
