Job Description

Electrical Fixture Wire Person (2-Week Contract) Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Fixture Wire Person for a two-week contract to support manufacturing and industrial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical skills, familiarity with industrial systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. This role involves wiring, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical fixtures within a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and precision in all tasks. Duties Wire and assemble electrical and test fixtures Read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics Cut, strip, terminate, and route wires properly Test fixtures for proper operation and quality Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues as needed Follow electrical safety standards and workplace procedures Meet daily production goals within the contract timeframe Follow safety protocols related to high voltage work and ensure compliance with industry standards. Experience Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar electrical maintenance role within manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with schematics, calibration procedures, along with expert soldering skills Knowledge of low/high voltage electrical work. Familiarity with AutoCAD for interpreting wiring diagrams and layouts. Experience working with distributed control systems (DCS), calibration tools, and precision measuring instruments. Prior field service experience preferred. Military background or experience in highly regulated environments is a plus. Strong customer service skills are desirable for collaborative project support. This position offers an opportunity to contribute technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing setting on a short-term contract basis while utilizing advanced electrical skills across various industrial systems.
