Our client, an automotive manufacturer in the Holland MI area, is looking for Journeyman Electricians for 2nd and 3rd shifts! Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems:

Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power for machinery, production equipment, and lighting.

PLC Expertise:

Diagnose and program PLCs to optimize machinery performance and efficiency.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve machine malfunctions and electrical issues by disassembling, adjusting, or replacing components as needed.

Control Panel Installation:

Wire control panels, distribution centers, machine controls, switches, timing devices, and lighting systems.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to execute safe and effective repairs and installations.

Emergency Response:

Make swift emergency repairs to prevent production delays when required.

Layout and Material Management:

Perform installations, create layouts, and manage bills of material based on engineering specifications. Qualifications.

Certification:

Must be a Journeyman Electrician. Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program certified by the U.S.

Department of Labor Technical Skills :

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with a solid understanding of electrical concepts, practices, and theory.

Troubleshooting:

Skilled in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical control circuits, transformers, relay logic, LVDT's, and programmable logic controllers. If you have had similar titles, we encourage you to apply!
