2nd Shift Overview Seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support maintenance operations in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, PLC maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring safe production operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, PLC, and control systems
  • Perform preventative and annual maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, wiring schematics, and single-line diagrams
  • Use testing and calibration tools including oscilloscopes, VOMs, RTD calibrators, and digital multimeters
  • Follow LOTO procedures, safety standards, and maintain accurate maintenance documentation Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Michigan Journeyman Electrical/Maintenance License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong PLC and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams
  • Ability to work weekends and off-shift hours when needed Preferred Skills
  • Food manufacturing or food processing experience
  • Allen-Bradley programming/troubleshooting
  • SAP/PPE system experience
  • Computer literacy and calibration equipment experience Compensation & Bonuses

$38.00 - $41.00 per hour
