Position Title:

Lead Controls Electrician Position Description:

The Lead Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment. This electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used on automation equipment projects.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide electrical team members across multiple projects
• Monitor build progress to ensure timelines are met
• Act as the primary communicator for electrical status and open issues during the build process
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Build and wire custom panels and systems per design and spec
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics and customer documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Document changes and communicate updates throughout the build process
• Support project success by focusing on quality, cost, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all stages of the project
• Participate in on-site installations & Support

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience wiring custom automated machinery
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to safety and detail
• Comfortable reading schematics and working with complex mechanical systems
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, OneNote)
• Team player with strong communication and self-direction
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (local, national, international)

Salary:

$32.00 - $40.00/hour (Wage based on Experience)

Additional Compensation:

Overtime pay, travel pay
