Journeyman Electrician - Wyandotte, MI $35.00-45.00+ per hour Local Projects Company Growth & Stability Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew while adhering to all electrical codes and safety regulations. Responsibilities Read and understand architectural and electrical construction drawings, ladder diagrams, symbols, and schedules. Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before wall, ceiling, or floor completion. Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, motor control centers, magnetic motor starters, transformers, and other equipment. Install and connect push-button controls, limit switches, pressure switches, float switches, flow switches, and other types of motor control devices. Pull branch circuit wiring and feeder cables through conduit, terminate or splice wires with approved methods and materials. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, motors, motor controllers, transformers, and other power equipment. Install control and distribution systems, such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and transformers, fastening them with approved fasteners. Essential Skills & Qualifications State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License. 5+ years of commercial and new construction experience. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety vest/goggles, steel toes) and tools. Team lead and/or Foreman experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
