We are committed to sustainable growth and excellence in every project we undertake. Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our large-scale solar project team. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade, working alongside seasoned professionals on a major renewable energy installation. JOB OVERVIEW
Project Details:
You will be part of our crew installing a large-scale solar array. Work will include mounting solar panels, running conduit and wiring, inverters, grounding, and system integration. This is a great chance to get hands-on solar experience with a stable local company.
Pay:
$18 - $21 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour days (overtime likely during peak project periods)
Work Location:
Report daily to our Brainerd office to ride with crew to Long Prairie. Assist with installing high voltage and low voltage electrical systems according to project specifications Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Support fixture installation, conduit routing, wiring, and electrical panel setup Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites Help with roofing preparations related to solar panel mounting systems Follow safety protocols related to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and construction site regulations Qualifications 1-2+ years of electrical experience or currently enrolled in a technical college electrical program Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction site safety practices Willingness to learn blueprint reading, schematics, and NEC standards Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment preferred Ability to work at heights and on rooftops safely during fixture installation projects Prior construction or roofing experience is a plus but not required Valid driver's license; forklift certification is advantageous Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow within the electrical trade Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician Strong understanding of job-site safety and willingness to complete company safety orientation Must be drug-free and pass a pre-employment drug screen Physical ability to work outdoors, on rooftops, and in varying weather conditions (common for solar installs) Join us in powering the future!
