Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are The Miami Valley Group, an Executive Search and Recruiting Firm and we have been retained by one of our large clients in the Printing industry to go out and find an Electrical Maintenance Technician for their Brainerd, MN facility to take their maintenance team to the next level. In this role, you would be part of a dynamic maintenance team helping to drive the achievement of company goals and will report directly to the Manager of Maintenance. The overall scope of this role will includes the upkeep of production machinery and facilities and will focus on the electrical side of plant maintenance operations and production support functions. What you will be doing Troubleshoot electrical and electronic parts of production equipment. Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals and understand functionality of the various electrical components. Can successfully use testing equipment to diagnose issues with electrical components. Understands the workings of and can effectively trouble shoot AC/DC motor controls. Assist in wiring all new/used equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical components in plant. What You Will Need To be successful in this role, you must have strong practical, hands-on knowledge of electronic systems used in manufacturing machinery. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial setting. Desired education is a high school diploma. Any additional education would be a plus.
