This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across commercial, industrial, and residential settings. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and industry codes.

Pay:

$38.00 - $43.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour days (overtime opportunities available) Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to perform installations and diagnostics Work with low voltage systems including control wiring for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work meets safety regulations and compliance requirements Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to coordinate electrical installations Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted Lead and mentor a small crew of apprentices (typically 1-2) Layout tasks efficiently Requirements Valid MN Journeyman Electrician license or certification recognized in your jurisdiction 3+ years of Journeyman level proven experience as an industrial electrician with knowledge of industrial control systems and schematics Commercial electrician experience with proficiency in blueprint reading and electrical layout interpretation Strong understanding of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques using tools like ohmmeters Hands-on experience with construction site work, renovation projects, and framing carpentry is a plus Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; handyman or frame carpentry skills are advantageous Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low voltage wiring is highly desirable Ability to lead apprentices and work well in a team environment Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills Must be drug-free and pass a pre-employment drug screen Join us to be part of a growing company that values craftsmanship, safety, and innovation. Work Location:

Report daily to our Brainerd office. Projects are primarily in the Brainerd Lakes and Central Minnesota area within 1.5 hours of Brainerd.
