Job Description
Overview As an established and reputable company, we are looking to add a knowledgable and skilled Journeyman Electrician to our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in high-end residential new construction, a valid MN state Journeyman Electrician license, a strong work ethic, including NEC understanding, code compliance, safety and customer service. Duties Install, modify, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with the NEC and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to execute precise electrical work, including calculations. Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Test electrical systems for safety, functionality, and compliance before commissioning or project completion. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for accountability and future reference. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a valid MN Journeyman license. Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC), safety standards, and best practices in a new construction residential setting. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints with precision. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to work challenges. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, and working in confined spaces.
