Electrical Apprentice

Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work execution Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings Follow safety procedures aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and site-specific protocols Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively Basic understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading Willingness to learn about low voltage and high voltage electrical applications Construction site experience is advantageous; must be comfortable working in various environments Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious attitude, and excellent communication skills Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; some technical training or coursework in electrical fields is a plus

$19.00 - $30.49 per hour
