Job Description

Join our team! We are looking for a skilled Operating Engineer to join our Parks and Recreation department. This role involves maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, and power systems, ensuring smooth operations in various facilities.
Location:
1100
North Hamline Avenue Schedule:
Shifts are 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and nights 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and include weekends and holidays. Here's what you can expect to do: Maintain and Repair Equipment - Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, generators, and bodies of water like pools and fountains. Perform preventive maintenance, including greasing bearings and changing belts and filters. Operate Tools and Machinery - Use specialized tools, testing devices, and computer software to diagnose and repair systems. Safely operate vehicles, material handlers, hoists, and lifts.
