Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Able to perform duties of an electrician apprentice in a way that is consistent with plant policy and standards. Assist in maintenance repairs & installation of electrical systems. Apprentice Electricians are required to further their electrical education, if not already completed. Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Perform all work in a safe manner and within all compliance requirements to avoid personal injury. Perform all observations and trainings timely as required. Support Plant Quality Systems and observe all plant GMP's to ensure quality food products are produced.Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Required. Has enrolled or completed a degree in industrial automation, electronics, maintenance or has an electrical journeyman license or 1 year experience in electrical/automation areas. Must have knowledge of electrical diagrams. PLC knowledge (especially Allen Bradley), Relay Logic, VFD and Servo Drives, Process Instrumentation. Basic math skills; able to read a tape measure. Basic computer skills; able to navigate through Windows based programs. Be familiar with hand and power tools; mechanical background and proficiency. Act responsibly and safely in the workplace for your own safety and all plant employees. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be self-motivated and productive with minimal supervision. Must adhere to all Kraft policies as stated in the employee handbook and follow all internal Kraft procedures. English Language Skills- Able to speak, read, and write.
