Experienced Residential / Commercial Service Electrician

Reiner Electric is hiring an experienced Residential / Commercial Service Electrician to join our team. We are a locally owned electrical contractor serving St. Louis County and surrounding areas. Our work includes residential service calls, troubleshooting, remodel wiring, panel replacements, service upgrades, lighting, dedicated circuits, commercial service work, and general electrical installations. We are looking for a skilled, reliable electrician who can work safely, communicate professionally with customers, and complete clean, code-compliant work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

Perform residential and light commercial electrical service work Troubleshoot electrical issues in homes and businesses Install and replace devices, fixtures, lighting, breakers, panels, circuits, and related electrical equipment Complete remodel, service, and repair work in accordance with NEC code and local regulations Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, and other team members Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site Accurately document work performed, labor time, materials used, and job notes Work independently when needed while coordinating with the office and field team

Qualifications:

Previous residential and/or commercial electrical experience required Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required Ability to work safely in occupied homes, businesses, remodels, and service environments Familiarity with NEC code requirements and safe electrical practices Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working directly with customers Ability to use a phone or tablet for scheduling, job notes, photos, and communication

Preferred Experience:

4-5+ years of hands-on electrical field experience Residential service work and troubleshooting Panel replacements, breaker replacement, service upgrades, and circuit installation Remodel wiring, lighting layouts, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and fixture installation Dedicated appliance circuits, GFCI/AFCI protection, smoke detectors, outdoor outlets, and general code upgrades Light commercial electrical service and repair work

Schedule:
