Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general handyman tasks as needed. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including proper handling of high voltage systems and low voltage wiring. Skills Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems. Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations for high voltage and low voltage systems. Ability to work on construction sites safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes. Strong background in renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or repairs.
