Job Description

Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Assist Lead in overseeing electrical maintenance activities. Responsibilities Understanding of PLC Logic and HMI's (Capable of troubleshooting control issues) Industrial Networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet) Strong Motor skills Strong troubleshooting skills Understanding of Process Instrumentation and Applications Medium and High Voltage Switchgear. Ability to work without direct supervision (Self Motivated) Ability to multi-task & follow thru on projects with peers Willingness to learn and train others Good communication skills with ability to log activities in a database Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...) Outstanding work record Must be willing to work unscheduled days when needed Qualifications Proven track record as a leader regarding safety Team player who has demonstrated ability to work well with others and independently Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Ability to work routinely in a hot environment. Repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting and walking will be required to support routine responsibilities.
