Pay Rate:
~$78,000 - $135,000 annualized (Exempt, No OT) Insight Global is partnering with a global leader in energy management and automation to hire Site Electrical Technicians for large‑scale mission‑critical data center projects across North America. This role is ideal for hands‑on electrical professionals with experience in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of power distribution systems such as UPS, switchgear, ATS, PDUs, and electrical controls. Candidates will work onsite alongside project leadership, subcontractors, OEMs, and commissioning teams to support safe and reliable facility startup. Candidates will be reviewed and leveled as Electrical Technician I, II, or III based on experience. Responsibilities Support electrical installation and commissioning activities onsite Review drawings, submittals, and technical documentation Perform inspections, terminations, testing, and punch‑list closeout Support commissioning readiness and startup execution Maintain field documentation in Procore Follow all safety protocols including LOTO and PPE (Scope and leadership responsibilities increase by level) Qualifications Electrical or construction background (data center or mission‑critical preferred) Experience with UPS, switchgear, ATS, PDUs, or electrical distribution systems Ability to read blueprints, one‑lines, and technical specifications Commissioning or startup experience strongly preferred
