Industrial Journeyman Electricians (TWIC Required) Pascagoula, MS 39581 $35 an hour - Full-time, Contract $35 an hour - Full-time, Contract Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire skilled Industrial Journeyman Electricians for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. A current TWIC Card is required for this position. This is for a 4-year project - new construction of a facility. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen before being hired. Weekly pay by direct deposit. No per diem is offered. Need to have some experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid). •The current work schedule is Monday through Sunday, working 10-hour day shifts and off every other Sunday (70 hours for 1 week and 60 hours for 1 week). If you are looking for overtime hours, this project is for you. If you are unable, cannot, or do not want to work overtime hours, this project is not for you.•Industrial Journeyman Electrician pay is $35/hour. No per diem is offered. Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors. Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Bend and install conduit. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Job Requirements:

A current TWIC Card is required. Pass a pre-employment drug screen. At least 5 years of experience working as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician is required Experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid). Need to have basic hand tools, all PPE, and reliable transportation. Authorized to work in the US. Work overtime hours.
