Class Marine Electrician Location:
Pascagoula, MS NSC Staffing is currently hiring experienced 1st class Marine Electricians for a long-term shipyard project in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This position supports the construction, repair, and modernization of U.S. Navy vessels and requires skilled electricians capable of installing, troubleshooting, and repairing shipboard electrical systems. Must pass hair follicle test and background check
Pay & Duration Pay:
Up to $42.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Duration:
Long-Term Assignment (Initially 1 Year)
Start Date:
Immediate Openings Available Minimum Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience as a 1st class marine electrician High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret marine drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Proficient with both metric and standard measurements Experience using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools Ability to work safely in shipyard environments, including confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Previous shipboard electrical experience Experience with: Power Distribution Systems Navigation Systems Internal Communications Systems Radar Systems Sonar Systems Lighting Systems Electrical Equipment Installation and Repair Job Duties Layout, install, troubleshoot, and repair shipboard electrical systems Install and terminate electrical cables and wiring Install lighting systems, switchboards, panels, and electrical equipment Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics Perform testing and troubleshooting using electrical diagnostic equipment Support new construction, repair, and modernization projects Follow all OSHA, NAVSEA, and shipyard safety requirements NSC Staffing Offers Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Program Long-Term Opportunities Career Growth with
