The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in industrial settings. This role requires expertise in high voltage systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including installation and troubleshooting. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Engage in frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations. Experience Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and their applications. Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards in the electrical industry. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
