Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will perform various maintenance tasks to ensure preventive/proactive maintenance and timely repairs in accordance with written and verbal procedures in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor of the shift. Join our 2nd shift team! 12-hour shift with a competitive pay range of $22.00-$40.00+ per hour plus shift premiums. Starting pay is based on your performance on our skills assessment—an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise from day one! What We Need from

You:

Minimum of five years' experience as a maintenance technician Must have hands-on experience with electrical and PLCs PLC programming, modifying, and writing new programs is desired Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and follow written/verbal directions Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits and systems Knowledge of electrical codes, as related to installations, basic hydraulics, and pneumatics Knowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshooting Panel building and machine rewiring, reading electrical schematics, and modification of electrical systems Physical capability to move freely throughout the facility; walk, bend, use ladders, lift 50 pounds Troubleshooting existing electrical systems Welding experience preferred

What You'll Do:

Includes duties, such as repair and maintenance of plant facilities, machinery, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and codes as directed by supervision and production requirements. Has the ability to function as a lead person in the absence of the supervisor. Must demonstrate proficiency in Hydraulics, Electrical, and Blueprint Reading. Demonstrates 110% compliance with safety and environmental procedures. Specialized skills or technical training may be substituted to fulfill part of this requirement at the discretion of maintenance management. Must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, example, and the absence of crisis through preventative maintenance. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Must be trained in safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, hazard recognition, PPE requirements and use, and any other safety requirements.
