$34•$45 per hour Job Details•Open Shifts:
Industrial Electrician on 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm Industrial Electrician on 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am Key Responsibilities and Duties Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system failures Perform preventative maintenance including inspections, calibrations, and adjustments Work with PLC systems, including basic code review for troubleshooting Install and terminate conduit, wiring, and network cables Build and wire control panels from schematics and technical drawings Conduct testing of safety systems (fire detection, gas detection, etc.) Maintain and calibrate testing and diagnostic equipment Interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Coordinate maintenance and repairs with operations to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and safety standards Document maintenance work and materials used Suggest improvements to optimize performance and safety Qualifications•Needed:
Structure:
Associate's degree in Electronic Technology OR 5+ years of industrial electrical experience Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical maintenance (preferred) Experience with PLC systems, control systems, and industrial automation Strong background in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and return equipment to service Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Experience with preventative maintenance programs Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word) Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work in industrial environments (heat, dust, confined spaces, heights) Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, NFPA, NEC) A bit about us:•Founded over 50 years ago and based in Edenton, NC, with operations across multiple global regions, we are a leading provider of food and beverage ingredients, partnering closely with farmers and manufacturers to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and traceable products.
