ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with control systems - low voltage controls, relays, PLCs, various electronics. Read and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints and other drawings as needed to troubleshoot, retrofit and/or custom design equipment to fit company needs. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance on equipment. Process technology improvements. Running electrical conduit and wires for new equipment applications throughout the facility. Wire in new and old equipment as needed. Plan and assist Maintenance leadership with electrical projects. Organize and assist Maintenance leadership with electrical supplies and tools needed for the Maintenance Department.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
Prior experience working with control systems - low voltage controls, relays, PLCs, and troubleshooting electronics. Prior experience working with high voltage, three-phase applications Experience with running electrical conduit and pulling wire Solid understanding and experience working with industrial electrical applications Demonstrated experience working on deadlines Communication proficiency Time management Problem solving/analysis skills Must be able to bend, stoop and climb a ladder Must be able to work at heights above 15' Must be able to lift and/or move 40lbs minimum
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent (Required) Associate's degree or Trade School Credits (Preferred) Electrical License (Preferred)
Programmable Logic Controllers:
1 year (Preferred)
Industrial Maintenance:
5 years (Preferred)
