Job Description

Start your new career as a Maintenance Electrical Technician with MAU at Trelleborg Engineered Coated Fabrics in Rutherfordton, NC . As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems that support manufacturing equipment and facility operations.

What We're Looking For:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required 5-10 years of industrial maintenance or engineering experience preferred Intermediate to advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including LOTO and 5S Experience with automation systems and MRO processes Experience using CMMS software for work order management and preventive maintenance documentation Proficiency using computers and mobile devices for maintenance tracking and reporting Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement What You'll Do as a
Maintenance Electrical Technician:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production equipment and facility systems Maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control components throughout the facility Support operation and maintenance of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs), Catalytic Oxidizers, and Tank Farm equipment Troubleshoot and maintain utility systems including: Steam and condensate systems Chilled water systems Cooling water systems Hot oil systems HVAC systems Compressed air systems Power distribution systems Assist with equipment setup, installation, and commissioning activities Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential equipment issues Document work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and project updates using CMMS software Participate in shift hand-off meetings to ensure work continuity and communication Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements Attend training sessions and stay current with maintenance technologies and best practices Work overtime as needed to support production operations
Physical Requirements:
