Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, residential, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults and verify system integrity. Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial control panels to support automation processes. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and site setup to ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports and inspection logs for safety audits. Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with high voltage systems and on construction sites to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Valid North Carolina license as a professional Electrician with proven experience in industrial or commercial settings. Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical regulations. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams. Proficiency with testing instruments such as ohmmeters and familiarity with power tools for installation tasks. Experience working on construction sites including renovation projects; ability to read blueprints accurately. Skilled in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician systems. Knowledge of high voltage systems along with low voltage applications is preferred. Strong handyman skills including framing carpentry or general construction experience are a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
