In this energetic role, you will have at least (4) years experience in commercial, you'll assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to continue to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade, working on diverse commercial projects that challenge and develop your skills. Duties Support licensed electricians by preparing materials, tools, and equipment needed for electrical installations and repairs Assist with running conduit, pulling wire, and installing electrical components according to schematics and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation Help with testing low voltage and high voltage systems using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule Skills Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and low/high voltage systems Experience with testing electrical circuits using ohmmeters or similar testing devices Basic understanding of low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when needed Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills This role is paid — providing valuable experience in the electrical trade while contributing to exciting commercial construction projects.
