Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to high-quality electrical solutions that power our clients' operations. Duties Provide leadership as well as establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with all involved with the project, including co-workers, General Contractor and Subcontractors. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Provide low and line voltage installations for scope and Owner Direct projects. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA and the NEC. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries. Ordering materials and providing direction to apprentices. Use fall protection and other required PPE for elevated or hazardous job sites Complete & submit weekly timecard efficiently. Communicate with supervisor on completion of scheduled calls. Complete essential paperwork for customer review and office review. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components. Size breakers, disconnects, fuses, boxes and wire gauges per code for new HVAC equipment being installed. Installing and bending conduit. Install low voltage wiring for complex HVAC systems. Perform point to point check out of control wiring Develop working relationships with our existing customers to promote and provide electrical service and support. Qualifications 4+ year experience as an Electrician & willingness to continue education in the electrical field. Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License. Willingness to reciprocate license to surrounding states. A willingness to take additional coursework in HVAC diagnosis and repair. Work within various site schedule requirements, including early mornings, and occasional night shifts or weekends Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Must be willing to work outdoors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills. Exhibit an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Electrical systems. Has the ability to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics and control circuits related to Electrical and some HVAC systems. Have a clean, neat, and professional appearance; a top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in himself and in others. High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes, NEC, NFPA 70 and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutions. Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record and background. Attendance is an essential function of the job. Advanced customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
