Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team and deliver exceptional electrical solutions across a variety of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and compliance on every job site. As a Service Electrician, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while providing top-tier service to our clients. Your expertise will help keep electrical systems running smoothly, supporting the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers. We are currently doing a large project in Manchester so travel to Manchester is a must. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safety and compliance. Conduct tests using tools such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot electrical faults effectively. Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records. Follow all safety protocols on construction sites or facilities to prevent accidents or hazards related to electrical work. Skills Proven experience as an electrician with a understanding of electrical systems and code requirements. Skilled in troubleshooting. Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to perform high-voltage work safely while adhering to all relevant regulations. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail when diagnosing electrical issues or reading schematics.
