Position Summary The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports safe and efficient plant operations through preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and rapid response to production issues. What You'll Do Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, encoders, and control systems Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on high-speed manufacturing equipment Work with 380VAC and 24VDC systems, including VFDs, servo drives, and electro-mechanical controls Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety requirements Participate in arc flash assessments and safety initiatives Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration Partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime Support equipment installations, upgrades, and startup activities Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability Assist in managing electrical spare parts inventory What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; high-speed manufacturing or packaging experience preferred Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and motor controls Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley automation systems Knowledge of industrial communication networks such as Profibus or Profinet Experience with instrumentation, including pressure, level, and temperature devices Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master) OSHA 30, NFPA
