In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately complete projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks. Work on low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance. Operate testing equipment such as Volt Meters to diagnose electrical issues precisely. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring electrical work integrates seamlessly with framing carpentry and other trades. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections completed. Follow all safety protocols related to construction site experience, including proper handling of power tools and adherence to OSHA regulations. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately to execute complex electrical installations Assist in the installation of low voltage systems such as security alarms or data cabling when needed. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures or hazards. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of NEC standards. Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new builds. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams is essential. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices efficiently and safely. Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems across various project types. Knowledge of construction processes including framing carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in diagnosing electrical issues.
