$40-$45 an hour Job Description This role focuses on commercial maintenance and service work supporting cell tower and telecommunications sites. You will troubleshoot power issues, repair and upgrade electrical systems, and ensure that all equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational. You will often work independently and may also serve as the lead electrician on site, directing one or more helpers. Responsibilities Perform commercial electrical maintenance and service work at cell tower and telecommunications facilities. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, components, and power issues to restore and maintain reliable operation. Install, repair, and upgrade conduit, wiring, cable, and related electrical infrastructure. Lead and direct helpers or small crews on job sites, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality work. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service documentation to plan and execute electrical tasks accurately. Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, including proper handling of tools, materials, and equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and site contacts to coordinate work and resolve issues. Document work performed and report any issues or required follow-up to the appropriate parties. Essential Skills Journeyman-level commercial electrical experience. 5+ years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving power issues. Hands-on experience with commercial service, maintenance, and repair work. Strong skills in installing and repairing conduit, wiring, and cable. Ability to perform electrical work that supports cell tower and telecommunications sites. Experience leading helpers or small crews on job sites. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service documentation. Thorough understanding of electrical codes and safe work practices. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hackettstown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
