$30-$40 an hour Job Description The Electrician assists field crews on commercial construction and retrofit projects, ensuring electrical installations are completed safely, on time, and according to plans, codes, and quality standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems related to HVAC, mechanical, and building systems Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics Perform conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and panel work Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on commercial and industrial job sites Install disconnects, controls, motors, and associated electrical components Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and company standards Coordinate with HVAC technicians, foremen, and project managers Maintain a clean and safe jobsite while following OSHA safety procedures Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and power distribution Experience working around HVAC/mechanical equipment preferred Ability to use hand and power tools, meters, and testing equipment Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a crew

! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Amboy, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
