Job Description

Immediately hiring a Industrial Electrician in Rancocoas, NJ We're hiring a Industrial Electrician for a premier Industrial Manufacturing Company in the Rancocas, NJ area. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical systems including PLCS, HMIs, VFDs and high voltage equipment to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime. Ideal candidates have strong electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing setting and are comfortable working with complex automated systems.
Shift/Pay:
5 Days a week 5:00AM - 3:30PM@ Monday-Friday (Flexible Saturday) Pay Rate $30-35 based on Experience Job Description As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment. Your role will involve assembling and installing new or repaired electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment such as motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches. Responsibilities Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose, repair, and document any issues. Perform electrical testing using tools like meggar, voltmeter, ammeter, and ground locating devices. Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC Drives, PLC, HMI, and industrial lighting equipment. Read, comprehend, and make basic electrical prints and mark ups for electrical installations. Start, stop, maintain, and assist in the installation and repair of generating and power distribution equipment. Dismantle and assemble electrical motors and related equipment. Install and repair electrical conduit and cable, including connections, controls, and grounding. Prepare work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, and document time distribution and material usage. Skills Troubleshooting Mechanical skills Repair and preventive maintenance Electrical maintenance Electrical troubleshooting and repair Experience with 480V systems AC/DC Drive expertise PLC (Programmable Logic Control) HMI (Human Machine Interface) DCS (Distributive Control System) Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Electrical Journeyman certification or 3+ years of verified experience as an industrial maintenance electrician Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and drawings Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Experience in plumbing, HVAC, pipefitting, and pneumatics Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Willingboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
