Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated New Mexico Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, interpret blueprints and schematics, and utilize your technical skills to deliver top-quality electrical solutions. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure systems operate correctly. Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high voltage components in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate electrical work within project timelines. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records. Follow all safety protocols related to NEC standards, high voltage handling, and construction site procedures. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, power drills, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, and high voltage systems. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including renovation projects and general construction environments. Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks or handyman duties related to electrical installations when needed. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using schematics and technical manuals. $22.00 - $36.00 per hour
