Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician Needed (Henderson) Low voltage prestigious commercial cabling contractor is hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians.

POSITION FOR EXPERIENCED LICENSED JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS ONLY

Job Description:

Perform electrical work for commercial projects. Install, repair, or remove electrical wiring and equipment. Install new electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring. Perform maintenance on existing electrical systems. Connect new wiring and install new equipment. Install conduit systems and stub-ups. Demonstrate a clear knowledge of codes and standards. Ability to complete & submit accurate paperwork which tracks work progress, personal timesheets, and other related documents. Communicate with strong written and verbal skills Maintain a positive attitude and professional dress & demeanor. Maintain a clean work environment. Other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

JOURNEYMANS

LICENSE IS A MUST

Must be able to read blueprints, read schematics, and interpret safety instructions. Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools. Must be able to install conduit. Physical ability to pick up 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, use stairs, reach, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, stand, walk great distances, and carry material. Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

TOOLS:

Owns all required hand tools, keeps them in good operating condition, and knows how to use them. Large tools will be company provided

OTHER INFORMATION

MUST HAVE an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety card. Must have

RELIABLE

transportation to and from the jobsites. Must have a cell phone Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as random drug tests Must be able to pass McCarran/City of Las Vegas/City of Henderson/Clark County background checks Must be a licensed driver in the state of Nevada Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
