Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Mechanic to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities/ residences. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints. Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute projects. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports and system logs. Adhere to safety protocols at all times, especially when working on construction sites or with high-voltage equipment. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of NEC standards and low/high voltage electrical systems. Construction site experience with renovation or new construction projects preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately. Strong background in frame carpentry or handyman skills is a plus for versatile troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and safety compliance. $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
